Acquiring the Premier Business Partner of the year 2007/2008 – PSG (Personal Systems Group) award for the fourth consecutive year, E-WIS proved its service excellence yet again, at HP (Hewlett Packard) Business Partner Forum 2008. This was awarded in recognition of the outstanding performance of E-WIS by achieving year-on-year revenue growth of over 30% towards HP PSG, significant contribution to HP PSG business with over 40% revenue, penetration to key customer accounts and its exceptional performance in the public sector.
The award ceremony took place during the Business Partner forum at ‘HP Drums Up 2008’ held at Amaya Hills, Kandy, recently. The event took place under the patronage of Mr. Tian-Chong Ng - Vice President of Personal Systems Group – South Asia and Taiwan, Ms. Nargaret Ong – Vice President South East Asia Imaging and Printing, Mr. Steven Kim - General Manager Technology Solutions Group Asia Emerging Countries and officials from HP Sri Lanka.
E-WIS also acquired The Best Emerging Partner of the year 2007/2008 – TSG (Technology Systems Group) award. The year-on-year revenue growth of over 60% towards HP TSG, penetration to key customer accounts with TSG products and total customer satisfaction delivered by E-WIS made them the winner of this award. TSG products include, HP servers, storage products, HP Software, HP services etc. EWIS implemented solutions using HP TSG products in many of its nationally significant projects including the Biometric Fingerprint Identification Solution provided to the Department of Employees Provident Fund.
Apart from the awards EWIS as a Business Partner (BP) organization received, on the individual scale, out of marketers within 60 BPs of HP Sri Lanka, Mr. Kalum Hettigama of EWIS was awarded The Best Sales Person of the Year 2007/2008 in PSG. This award was in recognition of achieving the highest contribution to HP business by an individual.
