As a part of E-Praja Kirana CSR initiative of E-WIS, the book donation and scholarship program was held at Mirisawetiya Temple, Anuradhapura recently. E-WIS one of the premier information technology companies in Sri Lanka carries out many CSR activities in this nature and this is one such activity they organize annually as a part of their CSR vision “Eliminating barriers between urban and rural”.
Nearly 150 high performing but under-privileged students were selected from the Anuradhapura region to be facilitated by this program. School books and equipment for a year have been donated to these students. Foot cycles were also donated to those who travel long distance to get to their schools.
